This pan fried broccoli is a healthy and delicious way to enjoy this green vegetable! Crispy and tender on the outside, you'll never have mushy broccoli again!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 head broccoli chopped
  • 1 tbsp garlic minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, add all the ingredients and mix well, until combined.
  • Add the olive oil to a non-stick pan and place it over medium heat. Once hot, add the broccoli and stir fry for 4-5 minutes, until crispy and tender.
  • Transfer the pan fried broccoli onto a serving dish and enjoy immediately.

Notes

TO STORE: Sauteed broccoli can be stored in the refrigerator, covered. It will keep well for up to 3 days. 
TO FREEZE: Either microwave for 30 seconds or add it to a lightly greased non-stick pan and pan fry for 2-3 minutes. 
TO REHEAT: Place leftover broccoli in a sealable container and store it in the freezer for up to 6 months.
