Caramelized Bananas (Pan Fried!)

These caramelized bananas are pan fried bananas full of sweet cinnamon flavor! Perfect for a quick and easy dessert, you need just 4 ingredients!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large banana
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 2 tsp agave nectar or maple syrup or date syrup
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Slice your banana in half inch coins.
  • Place the coconut oil in a non-stick pan and place it over medium heat. Once hot, add the agave nectar. Once it begins to sizzle, add the bananas and cinnamon and sautee for 1-2 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Transfer the banana onto a plate and serve immediately.

Notes

TO STORE: Place the bananas on a plate or serving dish, covered. Store them in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
TO FREEZE: Place leftovers in a shallow container and store it in the freezer for up to 1 month.
TO REHEAT: Microwave for 20-30 seconds, until warm.
