Salt and Pepper Tofu

This salt and pepper tofu is a restaurant style copycat recipe that takes minutes to make! Made with just 4 ingredients, it's healthier and made in the air fryer!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 block firm tofu 450 grams
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

Instructions
 

  • Slice your tofu into bite sized cubes and place them in a large mixing bowl. Add the olive oil and mix well, until all the tofu is coated. Add the cornstarch, salt, and pepper, and mix until combined.
  • Transfer the coated tofu into an air fryer basket. Place in the air fryer and cook at 200C/400F for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Remove the tofu from the air fryer and place onto a plate and serve immediately.

Notes

TO STORE: Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator, covered. The tofu will keep well for up to 1 week.
TO FREEZE: Place tofu in a ziplock bag and store in the freezer for up to 6 months.
REHEATING: Either microwave the tofu for 30 seconds or place it back into the air fryer and crisp up at 200C/400F for 4 minutes.
